Heart Of Pearls

image

Like the stars of the night, her beauty shines so bright
Like the flowers in the woods, she flourishes among the weeds
Her hair flies graciously as the wind caresses their curls
When she strides down the street, people strain to catch a glimpse of her

Her physical frame is the product of the heavenly artwork
Her facial features are like lovely pieces intricately carved
Her curves and edges are one to die for
Yet she has a heart of pearls

The damsel with enough beauty to crush the world
But in her heart of pearls does a great conscience lie
She’s got enough attributes to stand on top of the world
But in her heart lies the pearl of humility

She’s got enough audience to pull off an attitude
Yet she chooses to be conservative and cultured
She’s got nice bosoms and lovely assets to flaunt
Yet she chooses to be modest and moral

In this world of insanity, she’s still got her sanity
She pays no attention to the “others” who have sold their womanly pearls
She gives no room for unhealthy compromise
She stands alone, and follows not the crowd.
